WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

We recommend booking your session as far in advance as reasonable for you. Booking in advance is the best way to secure your session. In the case of newborn sessions, we suggest booking before your baby arrives and to be in the first 14 days. For family mini sessions, our busy seasons (spring and fall) tend to fill up quite quickly, especially weekends.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY SESSION?

A certain number of edited high-resolution images is included with EVERY session package! With most of our sessions, you receive a custom-made flash drive with full printing rights for personal use. Some of the packages or add-ons include 8x8 or 8x10 photo albums or The 3"x3" mini-accordian albums.

WHERE WOULD MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Most sessions take place in our studio located in Los Angeles, CA. Here you will find a studio with everything we need from props to lighting to backdrops. Outdoor sessions take place in a variety of locations, any location you might suggest surrounded by nature, trees, water, beach, etc is all we need for an outstanding session for your family. If you are planning having the session in your home just let us know so we can accommodate.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE PROPS, OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES?

Yes, we provide everything you see in our portfolio, and you'll have full access to browse all props and accessories upon arrival at the studio. Using Grethel's style of photography as a compass, we have an extensive collection of props. We're constantly receiving packages filled with gorgeous goodies for your little ones. Vessels of all shapes, materials and sizes include: bowls, crates, boxes, baskets, and antique finds. Handmade and hand-knit rompers, diaper covers, pants, headbands, flower crowns, bonnets and quilts fill the shelves and hang from multiple hooks.

HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION TAKE?

Depends on the type of session: Milestone sessions usually take less than 1 hour. Newborn sessions usually take between 2-3 hours. Maternity and Family sessions usually take between 1-2 hours.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

Within approximately 1 week you will receive your proof gallery where you’ll be able to pick your favorites. Then it takes an extra week or two to send your final images either as a digital download or on a custom-made flash drive.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?

We want your family to feel your best for the session. If one of you is sick, please let us know 24-hours prior to your session and we will reschedule. We are very flexible and always do our best to accommodate our clients.
